Verse Of The Day: Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. Psalms 27 : 14
LISTEN: To wait on God is to rely, hope and trust in Him. The message today is an encouragement to rely on the Lord and be strong and courageous. We are to wait expectantly for Him to help us. Certain situations in life forces impatient people to look for alternatives to God. They lost inner strength and courage because they failed to wait on/for God. The Bible says, ” But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah 40 : 31). Those who rely on God does not beg for strength, but are loaded with supernatural strength from the presence of God. Trials does not overwhelme them. They are not consumed by depression, fear, worry and anxiety. No matter the situation, they can still draw strength from the presence of God. Beloved, I am not doubting the reality of your trials and predicament, nor the depth of your anxiety and depression. But all I am saying is, wait on the Lord. I feel your pain, because no one is without a problem. You may ask, “But when will all these be over?” My dear, I do not know, but God knows, just wait for Him. He did not lie or joke when He said, “ Call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.“ (Psalms 50 :15; see Jeremiah 33 : 3). Beloved, do not give up, just pray and continue to pray until you receive.
