Verse Of The Day: Rest in the Lord wait patiently for him; fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass – Psalms 37:7.

LISTEN: The feeling or thought of abandonment and being forsaken often leads to frustration, confusion and despair. People, even Christians despair any time they perceives or feels “forsaken and abandoned” by God or others. They fail to acknowledge that God cannot forsake the faithful (Hebrew 13:5).  God told Prophet Isaiah to tell the faithfuls that it shall be well with them (Isaiah 3:10).  In the same way, I prophesy upon your life today, it is well with you in Jesus’ name. Beloved, strive to practice righteousness through faith in Christ and leave the rest to God: you will not regret it.  The verse today said “Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him…”

Leaning on God is the best thing a christian could do at a time when it seems nothing is working for him or her; though people may begin to give up on you, you must not give up on God, nor envy the wicked who temporarily seem to prosper: it is definitely not going to last forever. Don’t forget that the wealth of the wicked is prepared for the wind (Pro.13:11). May you not be wicked in your pursuit of prosperity in Jesus’ name. Wait on God and he will see you through your ordeals.

                                                          Daily Task

Pray and ask God to remove any thought encouraging you to believe that God has abandoned you. Then, thank him for his providence in your life.

Almighty God, thank you for your word, and help me not to envy the prosperity of the wicked meant for the wind in Jesus’ name.

Reflection :God cannot forsake his own even when they appears forsaken.
