Verse Of The Day : My times are in your hand, deliver me from the hand of my enemies; and from them that persecute me.- Psalms 31:15 (UKJV).

LISTEN : Our times are in the hands of God. Just as products are made with specified valid periods and expiring dates so are we. No matter how clever, wise, strong, powerful, enduring, etc, one may seem, it will not change the purpose of God. It is God who determines your destiny: that is, the events of your life are under his control. Unfortunately, many behaves in a way that suggest that they’ve taken the place of God in deciding the events of the lives of others. They kill, maim, persecute, destroy and do many harm to others because they believe that they’re in control of the world. They often and relentlessly put other people under undeserved pressure and inhuman treatment.

David was under such pressure when he penned this psalm. However, he said, ” My times are in your hand” (v.15). Although he was going through series of afflictions from the hands of his enemies – King Saul, the Philistines, etc. He believed that God was in control of the events of his life. David’s expression in our verse of the day was that no danger can happen to him without God’s foresight. He knows that God sees what is prepared for or meditated against him. He was sure that God will deliver him from his enemies.

Beloved, don’t be afraid of the wicked who has got some evil plans against you, your life is not in their hands. Let’s like David say, my life is in the hands of God. Friend, trust me, if you trust the LORD you’ll live in safety. No matter what you’re going through the LORD will keep you because your time is in his hands.
