Verse Of The Day : For I know what I have planned for you,’ says the LORD. ‘I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I have plans to give you a future filled with hope. – Jeremiah 29 : 11 ( NET )

LISTEN : To a natural man, God’s plan seems unrealistic and unattainable. People failed to understand that God is not man therefore, his ways are not our ways neither his thoughts our thoughts. The bible said, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts”- Isaiah 55 : 8 – 9 (KJV ).

Because of impatience, many sees God’s plan for their lives as being delayed or taking too long to happen. Again they failed to realise that God’s plan for our lives can’t come late because God knows the right time for his plan concerning us. In today’s bible verse, the Israelites were in captivity in Babylon and expected their quick return to Jerusalem. However, God told them through Prophet Jeremiah to not bother themselves about their quick return to their land but should engage in anything that could better their lives in Babylon as he works out a better future for them. God told them he was using that process to work out something good for their lives ( Jeremiah 29:4-7,11).

Beloved, God works in mysterious ways. He can use affliction or some ugly situations to work out his good purpose for your life. He has a good plan for you, plan of peace and not to harm you. He wants to bring you into a better future but not without challenges. Whatever you’re going through right now don’t give up. The bible said, “And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose” (Romans 8 : 28). Beloved, trust God’s judgment and timing, he is working out something for you behind the scene.
