Verse Of The  Day : Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.- Proverbs 16:24 (NET).

LISTEN : Pleasant words are healing words. They’re life-giving and life-saving words. They can only come from the mouth of the wise and godly; that is, those who understands what it means to save human lives.

Our verse of the day said” Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones ” (Pro16:24). What does that mean? It means that the words of the wise yield both profit and delight; the wholesome counsels  and refreshing comfort of the wise brings healing and life to battered and shattered lives.

Beloved, you should  learn to heal others with your words. Many out there are hurting, frustrated and confused; they need someone who can stir up courage and  bring relief  to their miserable  lives.  They need someone who can bind up their broken hearts. Someone who can give them hope in their hopeless situations. Beloved, can you help  the hurting today  by speaking  only  those words that can heal their broken hearts  and not cause more  pain?

Henceforth, determine to speak words of comfort, courage, edification, motivation, etc to others and the LORD will bless you.

Having read today’s devotional, what are you expected to do? ;

1. Build up others with your words and don’t tear them down.

2. When and where  you don’t know what to say, keep quiet.

3. Don’t hesitate to apologize when you realize that you  uttered  hurtful speeches to someone.

Daily Task

 Don’t destroy, frustrate, or tear down others with your words, instead look for ways to build them up.

Daily Reflection: When you  destroy others with your  words, you are as guilty as the man who killed  by the sword.

Blessed Father, thank you for opening my eyes to your words. Give me the grace to heal the hurting with your words in Jesus’name, amen.

Prophetic word: Today, I prophesy over your life, you will not yield your mouth as instrument of destruction to the devil, but of edification to God in Jesus ‘ name.
