Verse of the Day: For the joy that was set before him, he endured the Cross, despising the shame and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God – Hebrews 12:2 (UKJV).
LISTEN: In his moment of agony and suffering, that’s, moments before and during his horrible experience of the “cross”, Jesus Christ fixed his eyes on the glorious future that awaited him on the other side of the Cross. He refused to allowed the weight or thought of his agony to cause him to lose focus, instead he fixed his eyes on what the end will be – unmatchable glory. He believed that his suffering for the salvation of the world was for a moment; and after that, the joy will come. That’s, he will be received into his celestial glory at the right hand of the Father. Similarly, our sufferings and trials are temporal but worthwhile; if we don’t give up but endure the cross the joy will come eventually. Psalms 30:5b said, “weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning.” Therefore, I prophesy over your life that your joy has come in Jesus ‘ name.
Beloved, victory in life requires courage and determination. No one would be called a great warrior if he had not fought and won battles. In the same way, to taste the joy of victory one must be strong and courageous enough to win against the battles of life through Christ. Therefore, don’t quit! Your victory and success is just some steps away. But if you quit now, you would have ended up suffering in vain and losing your reward. Just fight on. When life hands you problems and trials, hand the problems and trials over to God (1Peter 5:7). Are you tired of life or your faith as a christian? And perhaps today you don’t have the strength and courage to continue anymore, just keep going: be courageous! Courage is not having the strength to go on, but going on when you don’t have the strength. God is your strength, always look beyond your challenges and your joy will certainly come. Let’s like Jesus Christ pursue the will of God for our lives for the joy that is set before us, and courageously endure whatever may betide us. Beloved, if you can demonstrate the maturity and perseverance of Christ in your time of trials and challenges you’ll come out victorious and successful.
