Verse Of The Day: Be on your guard stand firm in the faith, be man of courage; be strong – 1Corinthians 16:13.
LISTEN: Obviously the Christian faith is a fight, and only those who’re well equipped for the fight can stand strong after the battles. As a christian, are you prepared for the fight of faith? Do you know that the christian faith comes with countless oppositions from man and religion? Do you also know that God has made provision for our victory by providing us with his armours and weapons of warfare (Ephesians 6 : 13- 18)? Do you realise that if you’re defeated in the fight of faith it’s because you deliberately or carelessly ignore the armours of God provided for us? Do you know that until your heart is fixed in serving God your faith is hanging in the balance? To be victorious in your christian life your heart must cleave to God no matter what. You must be passionate about him and not allowed anyone or anything change your decision for him.
The heart is vital to a proper exercise of our faith. Romans 10:10 says, “For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”. When your heart is not involved your faith is not involved. When your heart is not yet settled in your conviction, it will be practically impossible for your heart to be firm and established in faith. What does that mean? It means that your faith must be matched with the required actions to get the desired result. If your faith is not firm in Christ it is a clear indication that your faith lacks works (actions or deeds), and at such is dead; standing alone (James 2:17). Beloved, how active is your faith in Christ today? Always be on your guard and stand firm in the faith, be courageous and strong in the service of the Lord. Remember, life is crowded with countless controversies, challenges and circumstances, and God measures your faith, not by where you stand in moments of comfort and convenience, but where you stand in moments of challenges and trials. So focus on God and your faith will be established.

1. Nurture your faith through the word of God and avoid being a victim of the devil’s deceit.

3. Don’t allowed the investment you’ve made so far in your christian life end in regret and shame; just press on.
4. Stand firm in the faith and fight until the crown of life is placed on your head.
Daily Task: Always be on your guard and stand firm in the faith, be courageous and strong in the service of the Lord. Resist the devil and he will flee.
Daily Reflection: Those who’re irrecoverably defeated in the fight of faith are defeated because they deliberately or carelessly ignore the armours of God provided for us?
