Verse Of The Day : Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God.
But you, O LORD, are a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.- Psalms 3 : 2 – 3.

LISTEN : No doubt, the number of those who prays and wishes that you don’t succeed outweighs the number of those who want to see you rise and become great in life. However, no man has the power to conclude your life but yourself. When others sees you as a failure you must not see yourself as such. When they see you as a hopeless person you must see yourself as the most hopeful person on earth. When they see you as a dead man, see yourself as one whose life had just begun. When others sees you as out and defeated, see yourself as a conqueror. Don’t forget that no one can conclude your life without God’s approval. Man is limited in what they can do to you if your hope and help is in God. Don’t worry about how much your enemies are that are against you, rather worry about how distant and lost you’re from God. With God you’re sure to defeat the enemy, but without him, you should fear, because you’re on your own.

When David was attacked and afflicted by his enemies, many thought that there wasn’t hope of survival for him; however, he believed that God will deliver him to the shame of his enemies and the glory of his name. When he fled from his son Absalom he said, ” LORD, how numerous are my enemies! Many attack me. Many say about me, “God will not deliver him.” But you, LORD, are a shield that protects me; you are my glory and the one who restores me.” David believed that no matter what his enemies may do to him God will stand for him. Perhaps, the case of David might be the same with your’s, friends and enemies alike may have concluded that there’s no hope left for you, but I’m here to assure you that there’s hope for you in God. Just welcome him into your life, make him your protector, your glory and deliverer, and he will arise for your sake. Remember, there’s hope for you in God.

Having read today’s devotional, what are you expected to do?
1. When your life is threatened by enemies and circumstances, put your hope in God.
2. Always remind yourself that you’re not alone because you’re with God whether you see him or not.
3. When people conclude that you’re out and defeated, don’t confirm it by believing what they say.
4. Always accept and prophesy to yourself that there’s hope for you in God.

Daily Task : Just welcome Christ into your life, make him your protector, your glory and deliverer, and he will arise for your sake. Remember, there’s hope for you in God.

Daily Reflection : Don’t worry about how much your enemies has increased against you, rather worry about how distant and lost you’re from God. Submit to God and your enemies will submit to you.

Prophetic Word : Today, I prophesy over your life, because there’s hope for you in God, therefore, whatever you may have lost to the devil is hereby recovered in Jesus ‘ name, amen.
