Verse Of The Day : What the wicked fears will come on him; what the righteous desire will be granted.- Proverbs 10 : 24

LISTEN : No one wants to see evil happen to him or her. Everyone wants to avert evil at all cost but it doesn’t work that way. Life functions on the law of cause and effect – “For every cause there’s a corresponding effect”; in other words, what you sow will determine what you’ll reap. Since the creation of the world, evil has been prevalent and seems to be dominating the good. People commit sin without considering the after effect. They maim and kill others; steal, rob, rape and commit all manners of wickedness and atrocities and damn the consequences. Certainly, those who commit such atrocious acts will reap what they sow. Nemesis awaits every evildoer here and hereafter. What exactly is nemesis? It’s a source of harm or ruin: punishment administered in return for a wrong committed; a penalty imposed for wrongdoing: a punishment imposed for a violation of law. Everyone at one point or the other will face the law of nature. No one will get away with his or her evil deeds, it’s a matter of time the reward will come. Those who commit evil don’t envisage evil coming back to them; they believe that they can get away with all their evils: they don’t want to experience evil in their lives, but likes to gladly unleash it on others.

However, the bible verse of the day says, “The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted” (Proverbs 10 : 24). What the wicked fears shall certainly and suddenly come upon them (Job 15 : 21; Hebrews 10 : 27 ). The wicked often fears to be maim as they maimed others, kill as they killed others, stolen from, as they stole from others; cheat as they cheated others, lie about as they lied about others, lie to as they lied to others, destroy as they destroyed others, etc. Irrespective of what they’re afraid of, the word of God is clear on the matter; what they fear shall come upon them. It’s a matter of time, nemesis will unfailing catch up with the wicked. The bible says, “Be sure of this:the wicked will not go unpunished…(Proverbs 11 : 21).Beloved, do you know that God is fully aware of your deeds? And that you will reap what you sow? Having known that, what are you waiting for? Why not forsake your evil ways and obtain forgiveness from God? Beloved, let’s consider our ways and return to God for mercy. Always remember that, the wicked will not go unpunished; therefore shun evil. As for the godly, don’t give up on your good works; God is watching. The verse of the day said, “what the righteous desire will be granted.”(Proverbs 10 : 24b). Be strong and remain faithful. The bible says, “Say to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.”( Isaiah 3 : 11). Beloved, it shall be well with you.
