Verse Of The Day: Rest in the Lord wait patiently for him; fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass – Psalms 37:7.

LISTEN: We (humans) are quick to conclude that time and people are living us behind, especially when others are prospering and we’re not. We tend to count the blessings of others and our own miseries and misfortunes. We often concentrate on our circumstances and current situations and conclude that we’re miserable when compared with other people in our category. Remember, this kind of feeling or thought will certainly lead to frustration, confusion, despair and the likes. Beloved, why are you downcast? Why are you despairing and fretting over the success of others? Have you given up on life? Oh, it’s so sad that even Christians despair and feel the same way like others when they perceives or feels behind others in terms of success and prosperity! They failed to acknowledge that God cannot forsake the faithful (Hebrew 13:5). Those who trust and wait patiently for God’s help can never be put to shame. He certainly will demonstrate his faithfulness towards them. God told Prophet Isaiah to prophetically declare to the faithfuls that it shall be well with them (Isaiah 3:10). In the same way, I prophesy upon your life today, it’s well with you in Jesus’ name.

Beloved, strive to maintain a cordial relationship with God through faith in Christ and leave the rest to Him, and you’ll not regret it. The bible verse of the today said “Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him…” This simply means to put your trust in God and believe Him to bless the works of your hand. Your success or prosperity may be hindered or delayed, but certainly it won’t be denied. When you do the needful, there’s no point to fret over the success of others because yours will certainly come if you don’t lose hope. Beloved, leaning on God is the best thing a christian could do at a time when it seems nothing is working for him or her; though people may begin to give up on you, but you must not give up on God; nor envy the wicked who temporarily seem to prosper, it is definitely not going to last forever: for the wealth of the wicked is prepared for the wind (Pro.13:11). Don’t take shortcut to ‘prosperity’ just because you sense delay or feels left behind by your contemporaries; just do the needful and leave the rest to God. May you not be ungodly in your pursuit of prosperity in Jesus’ name. Wait on God and he’ll see you through your ordeals.
