Verse Of The Day : Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;- 2Thesselonians 1:6
LISTEN : God is a God of reward. As He is a God of mercy so He is a God of judgment. Those who take His mercy for granted have His judgment to face. Besides, He does not live His people defenseless in a wicked world like ours, but protects them against satanic operations. That is not to mean that He promised us a trouble-free world, but divine protection. Unfortunately, majority of God’s people does not know what they have in Christ, as a result, suffers satanic invasion and destruction due to their self-induced ignorance. God is our defense, but until you acknowledge that fact you cannot enjoy that privilege. The bible book of Hosea 4 : 6 says, ” My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you…” Beloved, to receive and enjoy what God has promised, you must acknowledge who you are, whose you are and what you have in Christ. The bible says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ”(Ephesians 1 : 3). Until you realise that you are not a common person, the devil will continue to mess with your life.
Beloved, you are precious to God, you are special and the ‘apple of His eyes’, therefore, whatever the devil or his agents had made you go through God will give it to them many fold. He is a righteous God and will give to everyone what they have done. Our verse of the day says, “Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you (2Thesselonians 1:6). What does that mean? It means that God is aware of your ordeals. He is aware of the afflictions and troubles that the wicked had made you go through. All the ill treatments they meted to you the LORD is aware of them. They will certainly not escape His judgment. They will certainly face God’s judgment here [earth] and hereafter[eternity]. Beloved, do not be afraid, the LORD will vindicate, protect and preserve you. He will shame the ‘enemy’ and feed them with their own flesh and blood instead of yours which they initially planned to devour and waste. Remember, God will trouble those who trouble us. However, the wicked have an option to avert this determined disaster against him. He must eschew evil and turn to God in repentance through His Son Jesus Christ; certainly, He will obtain mercy. For God is mercy and compassionate.(1 John 1 : 8 -10).
