Verse Of The Day : We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;- 2 Corinthians 4 : 8 , 9

LISTEN : Unless you try something you will not know your inherent and potential abilities. Most often we surrender too quick to our challenges because we do not know who, and whose we are. We belong to God, therefore, we are stronger than our challenges. Sincerely, we are stronger than our challenges. We (christians) are stronger because what we carry in our inside is stronger than what troubles us without. Beloved, our total dependence on God will bring out the power of God in Us. When you depend on God, you will soon realise that there is inherent power within you that has been waiting to be activated. Power that can confront and change satanic patterns in your life and family; power that can manipulate your failure to success, power that can change your defeat to victory; power that can change bankruptcy to abundance; power that can turn a despised ‘weakling’ to a spiritual hero or heroine; and power that can graciously enable you to overcome temptation. (1 Corinthians 10 : 13). However, you cannot discover it unless you pour your life out to God. Beloved, are you wondering why you are not strong and stable in your resolve for Christ? Are you wondering why you are often defeated by every form of temptation? Are you equally wondering why you always end up depressed, perplexed and frustrated after every challenge and ‘battle’ of your life? It is because you chose to function without God. You chose to live outside of God’s plan for your life. Trust me, you cannot truly succeed without God. But when you live in the will of God, you will certainly overcome through His power.

Friend, your circumstance is not different from the ones Apostle Paul and his colleagues and other believers in Christ experienced (2 Corinthians 6 : 4). However, they were not overwhelmed by their challenges. The bible says this about them, “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed. (2 Corinthians 4 : 8 , 9). No doubt, the primitive church (the early followers of Christ) suffered countless afflictions, torture, persecutions and ill treatment from the the people and government of the day, however, they stood strong and overcame by their faith in Christ. They encountered great troubles, frustrations and persecutions though; but in all, they were not depressed, confused or destroyed. Beloved, what are you going through today? Have you chosen to give up too soon? Have you forgotten that you have untapped God-given power that can see you through all those challenges? I want to remind you that we have a God that does not fail. You will neither be crush nor destroy. So cheer up!
