Verse Of The Day : Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.- Matthew 1 : 23.

LISTEN : What good news could be greater and sweeter than the good news that God is with us? God with us means that nothing can prevail against us. All satanic forces in the world put together cannot prevail against us. (Isaiah 54 : 17). God with us means that God is our support and He desires a relationship with us. He wants to dwell in us and with with. He wants to forgive all our sins, reconcile us to Himself and allow us another chance of sweet relationship with Him. (2 Corinthians 5 : 19). He wants to reside permanently in our hearts to affect our lives for all eternity. He wants us to have a taste of heaven on earth through the birth of His Son Jesus Christ. The birth of Jesus Christ simply demonstrate that God is again united with human after the fall. In our verse of the day, Isaiah prophesied, ” Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” (Matthew 1 : 23 ; Isaiah 7 : 14).

Isaiah prophesied that a virgin woman will be supernaturally pregnant with a child; and will be born, and the child will be called Emmanuel; meaning, “God with us”. At the appointed time Jesus Christ was born as prophesied. Praise God! Jesus Christ is the reason for this season. His immaculate conception and birth was divine. His mission is to save condemned mankind from sin and destruction; and to give us eternal life. Beloved, it is not just about celebrating Christmas, but celebrating it with the knowledge and love of Christ. Knowing that He is the reason for the season. Let us come together to worship Him.
