Verse Of The Day: Know therefore this day, and consider it in your heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else. Deuteronomy 4:39
LISTEN: To feel, act, or think that there is no God does not mean that God does not exist. To imagine or believe that the world exist by chance and was created by no one is the height of foolishness. God almighty created the world for us to live in. He made it so that we can bless and serve Him all the days of our lives.
Unfortunately, a lot of people have not yet acknowledge Him as the creator of the whole world. They believe that the world came to be by chance. Beloved, common sense should tell us that such line of reasoning is unreasonable. The sun, moon, stars, trees, all vegetation, the sea, ocean, animals, birds, fowls, etc, cannot exist by mere chance. (Psalms 24 : 1)
Besides, we daily enjoy our food from fruits and food bearing plants. We are also blessed with water, wisdom, intellectual abilities, energy, etc. All these can never be products of chance. Beloved, it will be unfair and insensitive to attribute God’s goodness to nothing, or something else. (James 1 :17).
After several encounter of Moses with God, he does not need anyone anymore to tell him about the existence of God. He knows that God does exist and is the creator of the world. He is the almighty God who lives on from eternity to eternity. He is worthy to be praised. Therefore, Moses said to the Israelites, ” Know therefore this day, and consider it in your heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.” (Deuteronomy 4:39).
What does that mean? It means that you should not be ignorant of the existence of God. You should believe in His existence and serve Him as the only true God. When you acknowledge the existence and sovereignty of God, it should in turn, produce faith in you; trust Him, for besides Him there is none else. He reigns in heaven and in the earth.
Therefore, let us not deny that He is God, nor fail to serve Him as our God. As you do that, God will richly bless you in Jesus’ name.
