Veese Of The Day: He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. – John 1 : 11 , 12
LISTEN: Jesus Christ is once-for-a-lifetime opportunity of salvation given to all men equally. Once missed in one’s lifetime, it can never be regain in eternity. Though many people do not see it from this perspective, but the truth remains that someday, everyone will realise the need for Jesus Christ. Rejecting Him cannot keep you away from Him forever, because you are accountable to Him in life and in death.
Eventually, you will find out that you should have believed Him. Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, though it is hard for a lot of people to believe this truth. But those who believe in spite of their doubts shall rejoice when Christ shall return the second time in His glory. Beloved, never miss the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and personal Saviour.
Let us not forget that death is real and unavoidable. Whether we pretend to not know this fact, the truth remains that it must surely come to pass someday. Even if we appear strong today, we will certainly be weakened by the power of death someday; and after death judgment. The bible says, ” And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. (Hebrews 9 : 27 , 28).
Beloved, before you face death, you should first of all accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour; because if you fail to do that, you will certainly face Him as a Judge at the end of your life. If you have not embraced Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour, you must make this decision today as you read this devotional.
He has opened the door of salvation to all with equal opportunities. The bible says, ” He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” (John 1 : 11 , 12). Therefore, let us not reject Him like others do, instead let us accept Him today and be saved forever.
Having read today’s devotional, what is expected of you?
1. Do not let the opportunity to make Jesus Christ your Lord and Saviour pass you by.
2. Do not forget that the offer of salvation through Jesus will not exceed this present life. Accept Him today.
3. Never pretend as though death is not real, do the right thing and prepare for eternity.
4. Do not wait until it is too late to accept Jesus Christ, rather make the decision today.
Daily Task: Do not allow the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour pass you by; nor quit your loyalty to Him, instead, improve daily on your love for Him.
Daily Reflection: When the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ in this present life is lost, the opportunity to be with Him in eternity is equally lost forever.

Daily Prophetic Declaration: By the authority of the name of Jesus Christ, I prophesy over your life, may your love for God never grow cold; and may His hand of grace upon your life not cease, in Jesus’ name, amen.
