Verse Of The Day: Cast your burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain you: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Psalms 55 : 22

LISTEN: Friend, can you drop the load? I know you might be wondering and ask, what load? I am not talking about what you bear on your head or shoulder, but that which is bothering you. Anything that bothers you is a load on your life and certainly will weigh you down. No doubt, a lot of people are bearing burdens that outweigh their strength. Because of what they are going through, they wake up with tears in their eyes and sleep with same everyday.

A lot of people pretend as though all is well, but down deep in their hearts they know that all is not well. Beloved, you are not the only person going through some difficult situations and moments in life, everyone of us partakes in it at one point or the other. Just have faith in God. He is the only one that knows and cares. He wants to help you, but only when you put your hope and trust in Him. (1 Peter 5 : 7).

He knows your problems and understands where it hurts. He is a burden bearer, for He had once felt the pains of burden in the hands of wicked people. Beloved, what is your load? What kind of burden is weighing you down? What are you worried about? Is it finance? Your marriage? Your education? Your family background? Your ministry? Your health? What? Friend, cheer up! Do not give the enemy a reason to rejoice over you. Put your trust in God and accept the invitation He has extended to you.

He said, “Come unto me, all you that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and all of you shall find rest unto your souls.” (Matthew 11 : 28 – 29). Beloved, you need rest. Come to Jesus Christ and find rest for your soul. In Him you will learn how to overcome your challenges by the power of God through faith. Many had tried it and discovered that God is the solution to all human problems.

King David who had been through a lot said, ” Cast your burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain you: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.” (Psalms 55 : 22). Like David, let us drop our loads and put our trust in God and He will surely sustain us.
