Verse Of The Day: For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end Hebrews 3:14.

LISTEN: Life is like running a race, and a race is expected to end in the finish line. The finish line is a line that marks the end of a race. Obviously, every sport or game have rules and its acceptable standards. In the world of athletics, football, boxing, swimming, cycling, driving, racing, etc., there are rules, and if they are violated, will result in the disqualification of the person involved. This is same with the Christian race. The Christian race is not without rules and standards (1 Cor. 9:24-25). We can only make it to the end if we abide by the rules, that is – unwavering faith in Christ.

Our verse of the today says, “For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end”. What does that mean? it means that the rewards for the christian race are kept only for those who will make it to the finish line – the end. It is reserved for those who in spite of their earthly travail held unto their conviction in Christ.
Beloved, God wants you to have faith in Christ till the end of your life. It is a decision you must make. If you lose everything in this life, do not lose your faith.

Do not quit following Jesus Christ because of trials and sufferings associated with the christian faith: remember, as we share in the sufferings of Christ, we shall also share in His glory and honour in the world to come. If we continue to maintain the fervor of our conviction in Christ from start to finish we would not regret it at His coming (1 Peter 4:13). Sadly, many who were once devoted to God have suddenly lost their zeal and abandoned their faith. They have gone back to embrace what they once hated. They have neglected their relationship with Christ. But it is not too late to come back to God

Beloved, I presume you were sometimes ago jobless, childless, single, unpopular, heartbroken, sick, afflicted, confused and frustrated, helpless, defeated by the enemy, etc.? But you prayed and trusted God to help you out and He did? Why have you decided to abandon your faith because of some trials and tribulations of today? Why have you chosen to forsake God who saw you through when you were in trouble? Have you again decided to go back to the world which you once rejected? What will it profit you if you gain this life and lose your precious soul in hell? (Matt. 16:26). Beloved, rekindle your zeal for God today no matter what, and He will guide you through this life.
