Verse Of The Day: What the wicked fears will come on him; what the righteous desire will be granted. Proverbs 10 : 24

LISTEN: You will reap what you sow. Oh! how quick we forget to acknowledge this truth. Because of people’s unwillingness to understand how their actions directly affects them, they commit sin without considering the after effect. They maim and kill others; steal, rob, rape and commit all manners of wickedness and atrocities and damn the consequences. Certainly, those who commit such atrocious acts will reap what they sow.

Beloved, a day of reckoning awaits every evildoer here and hereafter. Certainly, there will be a day punishment will be administered in return for a wrong committed; a time penalty will be imposed for wrongdoing: a time punishment will be imposed for a violation of law. Everyone at one point or the other will face the law of nature. No one will get away with his or her evil deeds for so long, it’s a matter of time the punishment will come.

Those who commit evil do not thought of evil coming back to them; they believe that they can get away with all their evils: they do not want to experience evil in their lives, but like to gladly unleash evil on others. Certainly, they will not escape God’s judgment. The bible verse of the day says, “The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted” (Proverbs 10 : 24).

What the wicked fears shall certainly and suddenly come upon them (Job 15 : 21; Hebrews 10 : 27 ). Obviously, the wicked often fears to be maimed like they maimed others, killed like they killed others; stolen from, like they stole from others; cheated like they cheated others, lied about like they lied about others, lied to like they lied to others, destroyed as they destroyed others, etc. But irrespective of what they are afraid of, the word of God is clear on the matter; what they fear shall come upon them.

The wicked will never go unpublished. The bible says, “Be sure of this: the wicked will not go unpunished…” (Proverbs 11 : 21). Beloved, let us forsake our evil ways and obtain forgiveness from God? Let us consider our ways and return to him for mercy. But if you are living in line with the will of God do not give up on your good works; God is watching you, he will grant your desires (Proverbs 10 : 24b). Be strong and remain faithful, certainly it shall be well with him. ( Isaiah 3 : 11).
