Verse Of The Day: And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? John 5 : 5 , 6

LISTEN: Healing is to cause an undesirable condition to be overcome: it is to become healthy or well again. Healing is everyone’s dream. No doubt, everyone needs healing in one area of life or the other. Even those who do not know that they have some problems still needs healing as well. One who is poor financially needs financial healing. One who is sick in the body needs bodily healing; anyone who is bankrupt of ideas needs healing of the mind. Those having marriage crisis needs marital healing. Anyone experiencing academic crisis needs academic healing; anyone with character problem equally needs healing. The list goes on and on.

Do you want to be healed? I know you will not hesitate to say yes, but sometimes reluctantly, because you have tried everything within your powers to bring about a change in your situations but to no avail. We all tend to respond in the same manner to an offer of help from others when we have tried our best but encountered countless disappointments. We tend to believe that the solution will not come anymore because we have explored every avenue available to us without desired result.

That was exactly the situation of the man in our verse of the day. He was sick for a period of thirty eight years. That was such a long time to be sick and incapacitated. He tried his best to be healed or experience a change but to no avail. Thankfully, one day the Master of the universe, the great physician, the King of kings and Lord of Lords appeared and broke the protocol that kept him in that situation. The man thought that his situation had no remedies, but Jesus Christ proved him wrong and spoke a word into his life and the man was healed.

Are you like this man who stated reasons why he could not be healed? Have you tried everything and they have all failed? Do you think you have came to the end of the road? I have a word for you, there is no end of the road for anyone who encounter God, the Master of the universe. Sicknesses and diseases can never stop anyone the LORD has set free.
