Verse Of The Day: I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have so that no one can take away your crown. Revelations 3 : 11
LISTEN: To every faithful believer in Christ, there is a reward reserved for him or her.(James 1 : 12 ; 1 Peter 5 : 4). A reward to be received by those who in spite of afflictions, rejections, frustrations, disappointments, heartbreak, hardship, troubles, challenges and persecutions stood strong and courageous to the end of their lives. A reward for those who refused to deny our Lord Jesus Christ, or give up on their faith in him. A reward for a faithful service and labour for the kingdom of God. A reward that the kingdom of darkness cannot fully comprehend. A reward beyond the reach of witches, wizards, satanic altars, marine kingdom, principalities and power, occultic kingdom and all the host of darkness. It is a crown of glory. However, the crown could be lost by those it was reserved for. The carelessness of a believer in Christ can cost him or her the eternal crown. Therefore, the crown should be jealously protected.
In our verse of the day Jesus Christ said, “I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have so that no one can take away your crown. (Revelations 3 : 11). Beloved, do you know that Jesus Christ is coming back the second time to reward everyone according to his or her works? Do you know that he is coming back this time to both judge and reward people? And when he comes, it will be too late to repent or be serious with your service to him? Are you obeying or disobeying his voice? Are you really taking your faith seriously or with devil-may-care attitude? As a committed Christian, do you know that you can still lose your eternal reward through carelessness? Hear what Jesus Christ said, ” Hold on to what you have so that no one can take away your crown.” Beloved, it is time to face your eternal destiny. It is time to protect your faith lest you lose your crown. Apostle Paul said, “I have made a good fight, I have come to the end of my journey, I have kept the faith: From now on, the crown of righteousness is made ready for me, which the Lord, the upright judge, Will give to me at that day: and not only to me, but to all those who have had love for his revelation. (2Timothy 4 : 7 , 8). Like Apostle Paul, let us fight the good fight of faith; finish our journey and receive the crown of life. Think about it.
