Verse Of The Day: I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor. Psalms 140 : 12

LISTEN: No one can have faith in God while undermining His word. The word of God is the source of faith. Faith can only be produced when God’s word is taken seriously. Faith in God is the result of His word you stored in your heart. The bible says, “So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10 : 17). Beloved, how much of the word of God you treasured in your heart will determine your level of faith in Him. If you are empty of God’s word you will be empty of faith. What you hear and believe about God will determine your faith in Him. What you think of God will determine what you get from Him. Jesus Christ healed the woman with the issue of blood because she had faith. The bible says, “And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing improved, but rather grew worse, When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.” (Mark 5 : 25 – 29). She heard of the power of Jesus, and what she heard produced faith in her.

Beloved, what have you heard about Jesus Christ? Have you not heard of His grace, love, miraculous deeds and power to save? Why have you chosen to remain frustrated, confused and miserable? Do you know that in spite of your affliction and misery God can deliver you by your faith? My dear, it is your duty to grow your faith to receive from God. No matter your situation you should determine to be strong and courageous. Say and believe what you want to see, for what you cannot see you cannot grab. No matter how down you are right now, do not allow your predicament to ruin your life. In our verse of day, the psalmist who was equally afflicted as you are said, ” I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor. (Psalms 140 : 12). Beloved, do you have same faith like the Psalmist in today’s bible verse? Do you believe that God will plead your cause? Then pray and believe His word and you will not be disappointed.
