FIGHT TO CONQUER

Verse Of The Day: for a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries. 1 Corinthians 16 : 9

LISTEN: When Satan the enemy appears, he appears to hinder progress and cause mayhem to people. His interest is to watch out for the slightest opportunity to resist those with the opportunities to succeed in their various endeavours. Satan will fight to restrain anyone from accessing their God-given opportunities for excellence. He does not relent no matter who you are. He has his human and spirit agents that he uses as his army of destruction. Beloved, no matter your spirituality, Satan’s hunger for destruction cannot be quenched. The only language that Satan understands is faith in God. With faith Satan is defeated. For he knows that he cannot sink a person of faith; because faith is too high for him to conquer. Faith can conquer Satan, but Satan cannot conquer faith. Beloved, grow your faith and fight your battles. Do not forget that enemies are everywhere, and their intention is to hinder or destroy you. Apostle Paul was a called and ordained minster of the gospel of Christ, yet Satan withstood him repeatedly.

In our verse of the day Apostle Paul remarked, ” for a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.” (1 Corinthians 16 : 9). He (Apostle Paul) was called to preach the message of the Kingdom of God to the Gentiles. Truly, he had God’s approval and support, a door of ministry was opened to him, yet Satan and his agents fought to hinder him. However, Apostle Paul fought the good fight of faith and overcame him eventually. In commending his own labour and efforts he said, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith…” (2 Timothy 4 : 7 , 8). Beloved, without the fight of faith you cannot escape the yoke of the enemy; and he who chooses to abandon the fight of faith will end up a prisoner of Satan. So to fight the devil, confess your sins (Isaiah 59 1 : 1 – 10 ; 1 John 1 : 9), be strong in faith (Ephesians 6 : 10), learn to pray fervently and use the believer’s authority given to us by Christ Jesus. (Colosians 4 : 2 ; Matthew 16 : 15 – 19 ; 18 : 18).
