Verse Of The Day: LORD, in the morning you will hear me; in the morning I will present my case to you and then wait expectantly for an answer. Psalms 5 : 3

LISTEN: If only you can pray, God will certainly cause something to happen for you. A sincere prayer draws revelations, insights and inspirations. Above all, it provokes divine intervention. When you pray, God will make His will known to you. To know the will of God is the best thing every right thinking person should seek and pursue after. He who is passionate about seeking the will of God cannot insist on his own will. When we seek the will of God, we will not struggle to follow His instructions; and trusting Him will not be a difficult thing to do. Besides, if we can pray, we can expect God to answer. In our verse of the day the bible says,” LORD, in the morning you will hear me; in the morning I will present my case to you and then wait expectantly for an answer.” (Psalms 5 : 3). Beloved, like David do you pray? Do you present your matter to God and wait expectantly for an answer? Do you pray in faith? If only you can prayer God can answer.

A lot of people struggle with the act of prayer. They do not know when to offer their prayers; as a result, they are not active in their prayer lives. Prayer cannot be a delight to you until you delight yourself in God. Having heard the importance of prayer, when should we pray? We should pray when we desire a relationship with God like Jesus Christ and Cornelius (Mark 1 : 35 ; Acts 10 : 1 , 2) ; when we are in pain or suffering (Luke 22: 44 ; James 5 : 13) ; when we are confused and in doubt (Acts 1 : 23 – 26 ; 1 Sam. 30 : 7 , 8) ; when we perceive danger (Luke 22 : 32) ; when the gospel of Jesus Christ is threatened or hindered (Acts 4 : 29 , 31) ; when temptation is threatening our faith and lives (Mark 14 : 38 ; Luke 22 : 40); etc. Beloved, learn to take prayer seriously and be fervent in spirit serving the Lord. May the Lord bless you.
