Verse Of The Day: You are the ones who have remained with me in my trials. Thus I grant to you a kingdom, just as my Father granted to me. Luke 22 : 28 , 29.
LISTEN: In His address to His disciples, Jesus Christ said, ” You are the ones who have remained with me in my trials. Thus I grant to you a kingdom, just as my Father granted to me.” (Luke 22:28,29). Beloved, God is not just interested in raising and using people, He is also interested in rewarding them. However, He does not waste His reward on backsliders, spiritually lazy people, cowards and the likes, but on spiritually-minded and determined believers in Christ Jesus. He cherishes those who follow Him irrespective of trials, difficulties, hardship, frustration, persecution, hunger, rejection, mockery, etc. Whatever you do, God knows. It does not matter how smart you may be, or how hidden your act might be, He still knows. There is nothing hidden in His eyes. He will reward the work and labour of your love (Hebrews 6 : 10). He will not forget what you suffered for the interest of His Kingdom. Certainly, your reward awaits you.
Jesus Christ said to His disciples, “You are the ones who have remained with me in my trials. Thus I grant to you a kingdom, just as my Father granted to me. (Luke 22 : 28 , 29). What does Jesus Christ meant by this statement? He is simply saying that He is not ignorant of your labour and works towards Him; that He commends your determination, perseverance and faith in Him; that He will reward you because you choose to stand firm and strong for Him and His kingdom. Besides, He will give you His kingdom because you risked your life for it too. Beloved, are you abiding in Christ? Are you one of those who have chosen to remain in Him? Certainly, you will not be disappointed. Those who stand with Christ in His troubles will forever be glorified and honoured. But those who chose to abandon Him will forever be abandoned as well. Beloved, you can choose to serve Christ or not to serve Him. When you deny Him your service, He will deny you His reward. When you reject Him now, He will reject you in the future. Beware!
