Author: Bishop Julius Okarike

Verse Of The Day: But thus says the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contends with you, and I will save your children. Isaiah 49 : 25

LISTEN: When the Israelites were scattered around the world with no hope of recovery, their captors appeared to be stronger than they were, but God was working out deliverance for them behind the scenes irrespective of their sins. He vowed to fight with those who fought with them and got them out of their hands in the end. When they(the Israelites) asked for help God helped them and turned Himself an enemy to their own enemies. Beloved, God is stronger than all. He is a man of war. He fights His people’s battles. The bible says, “The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.” (Exodus 15 : 3). Beloved, do you know that life is full of battles, both known and unknown? Physical and spiritual? Do you also realise that no one is exempted from the battles of life including you? Truly, you cannot excuse yourself from the battles of this life but you can surely overcome them through the power of God if you want to.

On a daily basis we are confronted with these battles in different areas of our lives – marriage, career, business, family, health, finances, relationship, ministry, etc; and most times we come out of them badly wounded. But there is a good news for you today – the LORD shall fight for you because He is stronger than all. He is stronger than the strongest of enemies. Beloved, God does not need your physical strength to get you out of the hands of your enemies, what He needs is just your cooperation. You might be weak in might, neglected by loved ones, abandoned, or messed up by circumstances of life; but God is not bothered about that. Just cheer up! He is from above and above all. He is the mighty warrior, the leader of His people; He has no compare. So do not be afraid of the enemy. If the Lord is for you, none can rise and prevail against you. Remember, God shall fight for you and you will hold your peace.
