Veese Of The Day: He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. – John 1 : 11 , 12
LISTEN: Have you made Jesus Christ the Lord of your life? Have you reconciled to God through the death of Jesus Chist on the cross? Do you know that the opportunity of salvation will not be there forever? And Once you missed it in your lifetime, it can never be regain in eternity? Though alot of people do not see it from this perspective, but the truth remains that someday, everyone of us will realise the need for Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. No matter how long we reject or avoid Him in this life, we cannot avoid Him forever, because we all are accountable to Him in life and in death – time and eternity. Let us not forget that death is real and we should make eternal preparations before it comes. Whether we pretend to not know this fact, the truth remains that it must surely come to pass someday. We may appear strong today, but certainly we all shall be weakened by the power of death someday; and after that judgment.
Beloved, do you know that when you accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour you are making eternal preparations for yourself, and to escape eternal judgment? The bible says, ” And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” (Hebrews 9 : 27 , 28). Beloved, before death comes, you should first of all accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour; because to do otherwise, you will face Him as Judge at the end of your life. However, He has opened the door of salvation to all with equal opportunities. Our verse of the day says, “He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” (John 1 : 11 , 12). Therefore beloved, let us not reject Him like others do, instead, let us accept Him today and be saved forever. Stay blessed.
