Verse Of The Day: A time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.
Ecclesiastics 3 : 8

LISTEN: Life is characterised by change, and when people decide to reject or ignore the change, life therefore becomes miserable. Life is designed to adjust to change, hence, failure to accept and flow with change is entirely one’s fault. The scripture according to Ecclesiastics 3 : 1 – 8 stated clearly the changes that people must expect in life no matter what. These changes begin with birth and end at death. Therefore, to resist or resent these changes is to hurt oneself unnecessarily. Beloved, survival in this life is not for the strongest but for those who can adapt to any kind of situation. But what does it mean to adapt? It means to change your behaviour so that it is easier to live in a particular place or situation. ( see 1 Samuel 21 : 10 – 15). Today, we are living in a wicked world and things often happens against our plans and will, as a result, our hearts are broken because of tragedies and misfortunes. Worst of all, those who cannot easily adapt to such situations are badly affected by them.

Beloved, are you bothered and overwhelmed by certain situations in your life? Are you finding it difficult to adapt or come to terms with what is happening to, or around you? Please be wise and adapt! Do not kill yourself because of what you are going through. Always remember that there is time for everything and your ability to adapt to all situations will place you on the winning side of life. This simply means that you must be prepared to live by faith and not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5 : 7). Those who live by sight hardly adapt to change, but those who live by faith can easily adapt to any kind of situation because they believe that God is always working out something for them behind the scenes. Beloved, you should learn to change your behaviour to allow you live in any place or situation. (Philippians 4 : 11 – 13). If what you are experiencing today in life is not palatable to you, do not kill yourself, instead, adapt to change and you will certainly outlast the situation. Besides, if you are loved today, but hated tomorrow, never mind; if you have enjoyed peace yesterday, but facing crisis and war today, never mind still! Just remember that God is at work. Whatever season of your life you are in now, just adapt and you will survive by the power of God.
