Verse Of The Day: Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble.
He comes forth like a flower, and is cut down: he flees also as a shadow, and continues not. Job 14 : 1 , 2

LISTEN: Oh! It is painful to be here today and be gone and gone forever tomorrow in death. It is a time when we will be forgotten and missed by all forever. Sadly, this is the portion of everyone living on the earth. Truly, it is so sad and calls for a sober Reflection. Brethren, let us think! Let us have a sober reflection. That is, let us take a great deal of time to analysize and think through our lives, to either reaccount how far we have come, or to assist make a serious life changing decisions. Though death is painful, but our exit from the world will not be a loss if we walk with God through His son Jesus Christ when we yet live. Our days of earthly troubles will be turned to years of heavenly bliss; as a result, what came to us as a loss (death) through sin will be celebrated through eternal life in Christ Jesus.

Beloved, as we live, let us access our impact on the lives of others and the world at large? Let us make sure that our existence is to the benefits of others and the glory of God. Let us always remember that we are not going to be here forever. The Bible verse of the day says, “Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble. He comes forth like a flower, and is cut down: he flees also as a shadow, and continues not.” (Job 14 : 1 , 2). With all our glory, achievements, fame, wealth, power, etc; our life is just for a short time. Like a flower, its beauty and charm fade too soon. Beloved, we should spend our lives in wisdom. Having realised that we have not come here to stay forever, we should strive to live well and live to the glory of God. The Bible clearly tells us what we should do and it says, “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. (Psalms 90 : 12). So, let us not waste our lives, instead, let us learn to spend it wisely and secure a blissful future with Christ Jesus.
