Verse Of The Day: One who is slow to anger has great understanding, but the one who has a quick temper exalts folly. Proverbs 14 : 29

LISTEN: Cooperate organisations and individuals often uses caution signs to warn people of danger. Caution is a warning sign, an admonishment, a notice to take precaution and a prudent forethought to minimize risk. Caution is designed to help people or individuals take care to avoid danger or risk, and to be careful in their attitude or way of behaving. In the same way, God wants us to tread with caution. He wants us to be careful in our attitude and behaviour. One area of our lives He wants us to tread with caution is the area of anger. We should be cautious at all times because most mistakes, damage, crime, etc, are done in moments of anger. Where anger is not controlled, evil and tragedy will reign. Beloved, you have the right to be angry, but you do not have the right to cause damage or harm in moments of anger.

Those who are ruled by anger are unwise and lack understanding. They lack understanding because they failed to consider the consequences of uncontrolled anger before starting it. Our verse of the day says, ” One who is slow to anger has great understanding, but the one who has a quick temper exalts folly.” (Proverbs 14 : 29). Beloved, no matter how bad you have been offended, learn to control your temper. If you can control and delay your action anytime you are angry, sooner or later you will realise that uncontrolled anger can only cause more harm than good. There is wisdom in being slow to anger. It will save you the headache and heartache associated with losing your temper. Beloved, learn to control your anger, because uncontrolled anger is a demonstration of foolishness and immaturity. Therefore, whatever you do or say, always tread with caution.
