Verse Of The Day: Although a righteous person may fall seven times, he gets up again, but the wicked will be brought down by calamity. Proverbs 24 : 16

LISTEN: We (children of God) can fall or faint sometimes due to trials, but we can never fade because we have a God who can help us up through faith in Christ anytime we fall. Jesus Christ did not promised us trouble-free life, but the peace of God in trouble time (John 14 : 1 ; Philippians 4 : 6 – 7). Beloved, the journey of life is not an easy one, because life is full of ‘ups and downs.’ It has a succession of both good and bad experiences. Joy is often interrupted by sorrow; health by sicknesses and diseases, peace by conflict, crisis and war; marriage by divorce or loss of a spouse, wealth by poverty and hardship; security by insecurity, ease and wellness by pain; life by death, strength by weakness, etc. When these things happen, we tend to conclude that we have come to the end of the road in our lives. Be strong! These experiences could be your fall, but deliverance is coming for you. The Bible says, “…weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” (Psalms 30 : 5b). Be strong and look unto God for deliverance.

Beloved, a time of trouble is not time to be discouraged, heartbroken, depressed, hopeless, frustrated or confused, but a time to build up your faith in Christ and look onto Him. Beloved, Just press on no matter what. The Bible says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” (Romans 10 : 11). Because you are a child of God, your fall cannot be your doom. If you are currently experiencing some sad moments in your life, be strong and courageous; it is not your destination, but a season in your life. What you need now is faith, very soon you will celebrate. Faith in God is important because it gives you a relationship with Him. Having a relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ will give you the righteousness of God that comes by faith. And this righteousness will be your source of strength in time of trouble. Beloved, with Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you will not sink when you fall. The Bible says, ” Although a righteous person may fall seven times, he gets up again, but the wicked will be brought down by calamity.” (Proverbs 24 : 16). Oh! Woe to the wicked, because it shall be ill with them. Their end shall be destruction without remedies; but the righteous shall be safe even in trouble.

Having read today’s devotional, what is expected of you?
1. When you ‘fall’, learn to rise up and keep moving and pressing on.
2. Be expectant in all situations, knowing that trouble cannot be your destination.
3. Be strong and courageous when going through every challenge of your life.
4. Learn to trust God for solution to your troubles, and grow your faith in Him daily.

Daily Task: Beloved, when trouble comes, do not be discouraged, heartbroken, depressed, hopeless or want to give up on life, rather, be strong, expectant, and put your faith in Christ.

Daily Reflection: Remain focused! Anything that broke your heart should not be permitted to break your focus too; because a broken focus will put you off your purpose in life.

Daily Prayer: Everlasting Father, I thank you because you cares for me. Therefore, no matter my weakness, help me to keep going till I arrive at my desired destination to the glory of your name, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Daily Prophetic Declaration: You will make a difference. Today, I prophesy to you, may God terminate your frustration and endless crisis. May you receive strength to overcome the powers of darkness, in Jesus’ name.

Daily Quote: Our ‘fall’ does not determine our fate, but our faith does.
