Verse Of The Day: Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of the varied grace of God. 1 Peter 4 : 10
LISTEN: No one is created empty of talent(s). God created everyone with something to benefit and serve others with. We are individually made to be useful to both God and man. Truly, we have been greatly endowed with unspeakable talents to the glory of God. That you have not yet discovered your talents does not mean you do not have one. God created us with certain abilities to do certain things well. The problem is that you are too afraid to try out your potentials. Beloved, you are gifted. Yes, I mean it. You are not created empty of God’s purpose for your life. God’s purpose for your life is the reason for the gift(S) He has given to you. Hence, you are to serve with it because He will hold you accountable at the end of your earthly life. Until now, do you still think that you have nothing to offer to others? Or, that you are created with no talent at all?
Beloved, we all have received one or more talents from God, therefore, should serve with what we have received. Our verse of the day says, ” Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of the varied grace of God.” (1 Peter 4 : 10). Whatever gift you have from God, use it well to the blessing of man and to the glory of God. Do not despise your gifts (talents). No gift from God is too small to be seen as unimportant. Besides, no divine gift or talent is too small to impact life. There are people out there in desperate need of your gifts, so serve with what you have. God’s word enjoins us to serve one another with our talents (gifts). Therefore, do not be stingy with, or despise yours. The Bible further says, “And we have different gifts according to the grace given to us. If the gift is prophecy, that individual must use it in proportion to his faith. If it is service, he must serve; if it is teaching, he must teach; if it is exhortation, he must exhort; if it is contributing, he must do so with sincerity; if it is leadership, he must do so with diligence; if it is showing mercy, he must do so with cheerfulness. (Romans 12 : 6 – 8). Beloved, let us serve others with our gifts to the glory of God.
