Verse Of The Day: No one can be established through wickedness, but a righteous root cannot be moved. Proverbs 12 : 3

LISTEN: God has given us the freedom to make our own choices. He does not force anyone to accept His (God) own choice against one’s personal choice. However, He would warn us of the consequences of our choices and allow us to make our own decisions using His instructions as our guide. (Deuteronomy 30 : 19). Beloved, our choice between good and evil is critical to our success and failure. When we chose good over evil we have made the choice to succeed and live eternally. But when we chose evil over good, we have made the decision to fail and die eternally too. Evil is disastrous. Therefore, anything with an evil foundation will certainly fail eventually. Truly, our life rises or falls on our decisions. A right decision will produce a good result; in the same way, a bad decision will produce regrettable outcome. Beloved, do you know that our actions or decisions are the blocks with which we lay the foundation of our lives? When we choose to ignore God’s word and live in wickedness, we are laying a foundation that will end in shame. But when we choose to obey His word and live in righteousness, He will certainly establish us.(Matthew 7 : 24 – 27).

Beloved, God’s word is the foundation for moral principles: it is the underlying basis or principle for lasting success. When God’s word is undermined, failure is inevitable. Besides, where God’s word is neglected, wickedness is celebrated; and where wickedness is celebrated, destruction is inevitable. Wickedness is a sure way to frustration, misery and calamity. Our bible verse of the day says, ” No one can be established through wickedness, but a righteous root cannot be moved.” (Proverbs 12 : 3). It is sad that people do many evil things with the intentions to establish themselves. They kill to establish themselves in power, they steal and rob to establish themselves in wealth; they commit all manner of atrocities to establish themselves in influence, popularity, fame, etc. But certainly, no one can be established through wickedness. Truly, you can only be established through the fear of God and righteousness by faith in Christ Jesus. Righteousness will exalt you, but sin will bring disgrace if it is allowed to dominate your life. (Proverbs 14 : 34). Therefore, let no one deceive you to do evil. Instead, avoid it and your life will be safe and sacred to God.
