Verse Of The Day: Therefore watch, for you do not know either the day or the hour in which the Son of man comes. Mathew 25 : 13
LISTEN: The return or second coming of Jesus Christ will be a bombshell (Luke 17 : 26 – 30). His surprise return will shock the inhabitants of the earth. His coming will be a mixture of joy and sorrow. Joy to the faithful and sorrow to the unfaithful and wicked (Daniel 12 : 1 , 2). His second coming will break the hearts of many, but put laughter in the mouth of those who faithfully and laboriously served Him. At His return, careless and spiritually lazy believers who joined the world to practise worldliness and wickedness shall regret their thoughtless actions. Beloved, are you prepared for His surprise return? Are you taking your service to God seriously? Are your eyes still fixed on Him (Hebrews 12 : 2)? If He returns today will you be part of His jewel? Have you considered your spiritual life lately (2Corinthians 13 : 5)? Are you still filled with Holy Spirit? Are you still loyal and obedient to the Lordship of Jesus Christ?
Beloved, Jesus Christ will certainly return to judge the world (Acts 17 : 30 , 31). He will judge the world in righteousness. Those who receive Him will not be condemned, but those who reject are condemned already. Besides, those who received Him and later followed the world in their corruption and wickedness shall be condemned. Beloved, are you prepared for the master’s return? Do you know that He can come any time from now? Our verse of the day says, ” Therefore watch, for you do not know either the day or the hour in which the Son of man comes.” (Mathew 25 : 13). Our responsibility is to watch for His return. What should we watch? We should watch out for temptation. We should watch our actions, activities, conduct, trends, etc. We should be careful not to follow the world’s way of corruption and sin. We should guard against anything that will keep us from eternal life. Beloved, anyone who misses eternal life will receive the devil’s unwanted welcome to hell. Beware!
