Verse Of The Day: Esau said to his father, “Do you have only that one blessing, my father? Bless me too!” Then Esau wept loudly. So his father Isaac said to him, “Indeed, your home will be away from the richness of the earth, and away from the dew of the sky above. You will live by your sword but you will serve your brother. When you grow restless, you will tear off his yoke from your neck.” Genesis 27 : 38 – 40
LISTEN: Do you know that people can be manipulated and limited by demonic spirits? Do you also know that a lot of destinies have been tampered with by satanic forces? Beloved, do not be ignorant of the influence of these satanic spirits on people’s lives, lest you be a victim. You must arise and deal with the spirit of limitation in your life. In our verse of the day, Jacob’s blessing from his father Isaac placed a limitation on the life of his brother Esau. When Esau wept and demanded to be blessed too, his father told him that he has been limited by his brother’s blessing (Genesis 27 : 38 – 40). His father told him that he could be freed if he (Esau) can oppose to the power of limitations. Isaac said to Jacob, ” When you grow restless, you will tear off his yoke from your neck.” (Genesis 27 : 38 – 40) This means that he must oppose to limitation. Until he says no to it he will remain limited by his brother’s blessing.
Beloved, a limited man is a restricted man who suffers in the midst of plenty. He cannot go beyond the limit the enemies have set for him. Though he may see or know where he belongs or what he should attain, but find it difficult to get there. Limitation makes a man to suffer in the midst of opportunities and possibilities. One of the signs of a destiny that is tampered with is that the owner of such destiny suffers limitation in life. The spirit of limitation should be dealt with and conquered for you to be free. Victims of the spirit of limitation are limited in every sphere of life – academically, maritally, socially, politically, spiritually, financially and even in business. With the spirit of limitation, a barrier is placed in the way to greatness of people. Such people may have the potentials for greatness, excellence, and prosperity, but there is an extent to which they are allowed to go in life. Truly, everyone who wants to enter his destiny must be free from this spirit. Beloved, you can come out of limitation. Pray and seek the face of God, and resist all satanic opposition through faith in God and you will be free. (Matthew 15 :13 ; Luke 1 : 37 ; Jeremiah 32 : 27).
