Verse Of The Day: Many plans occupy the mind of a man, but the LORD’s purposes will prevail. Proverbs 19 : 21
LISTEN: Beloved, have you made effort to discover God’s plan for your life? If you have, are you following His plans for your life? Do you know that He created you to fulfill some purposes for Him on the earth? That He had equally equipped you with all you need to accomplish it? (see Jeremiah 1 : 4 – 7). My dear, there are no better plans for your life than God’s own plans for you. Before you were born He already knew you and gave you the assignment(s) you should accomplish on the earth. Hence failing or neglecting to do it is a deliberate attempt to frustrate His plan for your life. His plans may not be palatable to you, but that is the best for you. Beloved, God’s plan is not just about you, but about Him and others too. God used Joseph to preserve the Israelites in time of famine, but Joseph had to go through hate, betrayal, slavery, false accusation, humiliation and imprisonment to be able to accomplish this good plan of God.
Beloved, you may refuse God’s plans for your life and establish your own plan, but be sure that His own plan will stand eventually. The Bible verse of the day says, ” Many plans occupy the mind of a man, but the LORD’s purposes will prevail.” (Proverbs 19 : 21). Yes! You may have contrary plans to God’s and possibly execute them, but be sure that God’s plan will prevail. Have you considered Joseph’s wicked and jealous brothers (Genesis 37 : 6 – 9 , 11 , 18); King Saul (1 Samuel 18 : 6 – 11), Jonah the Lord’s rebellious prophet (Jonah 1 : 1 – 17), and King Herod the enemy of the gospel of Christ? They variously opposed God’s plan, yet, His plans prevailed in the end. Beloved, have you find out God’s plan for your life? Besides, are you following His plan for your life? Please do not waste your time opposing God’s plans for your life, instead, bury your own plans in His plans and you will enjoy your life as long as you live.
