Verse Of The Day: The angel said to him, “I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to tell you this good news.” Luke 1:19

LISTEN: This is a season when we commemorate God’s love and blessings to mankind. He has demonstrated His love towards all, by making provision for our redemption through His Son Jesus Christ. His love brings with it favour, healing, mercy, answer to prayers, deliverance and all manner of good things. God is rich in mercy. He is loving and caring. He can love even the unlovable. His love abounds with those who love Him. Their prayers are always before Him. He feels their pain and heartbreak. Their prayers are always in His altar. No matter the silence to their prayers, He (God) will bring the message of joy and comfort in due time. Beloved, God is not ignorant of your commitment and service to Him. He knows your faithfulness and patience in trials. He has a good news for you; your time of waiting and undue delays are over.

Our verse of the day is about Zechariah the priest of the Lord, who in spite of his several years of childlessness with his wife Elizabeth, continued to serve God faithfully. He (Zechariah) was doing his priestly functions as usual when an angel of God visited with a good news from God. When he saw the angle he was afraid, but the angel stilled him and said,… “Do not be afraid, Zechariah, for your prayer has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son; you will name him John. Joy and gladness will come to you, and many will rejoice at his birth.” (Luke 1 : 13 , 14). Beloved, like Zechariah, have you been praying for something and God seems to have kept silent? Do you think that God has abandoned you? Not to worry! Like Zechariah, He will answer you in due season. I am joining the angels of God in declaring that your years of waiting are over. If you can trust God and remain committed to Him despite your predicament, you will see His glory. Joy and gladness will come to you, and many will rejoice because of God’s love towards you.
