Verse Of The Day: Casting all your care upon him; for he cares for you. 1 Peter 5 : 7
LISTEN: There is no person on earth without a problem or problems as the case may be. We all encounter one kind of difficult situation or the other. (1 Corinthians 10 : 13). If you are not faced with health concerns, you are faced with marital, familial, relational, business, security, career, ministry, or many other concerns that comes with life. Thankfully, we have One we can cry to. A shoulder we can lean on in times of troubles. (Jeremiah 33 : 3 ; Psalms 50: 15). One who feels our pain and sorrows. One who cares and loves us beyond our natural understanding. His name is JEHOVAH. He is the true, supreme and eternal One. He is everything to those who trust in Him. He is healing to the sick, strength to the weak, blessing to the cursed; life to those who are sentenced to death, a child giver to the barren and childless, hope to the hopeless, success to he who has known nothing but failure, victory to the defeated, peace to the restless, comfort to the brokenhearted, etc.
God is the true solution to all human’s problems. What we cannot defeat He can defeat for us. That is why our bible verse of the day says, ” Casting all your care upon him; for he cares for you.” (1 Peter 5 : 7). This simply means that, because God created us and is concerned about us, we should let Him take care of all the things that we are worried and concerned about. Friend, do not be too proud, ashamed, or self-suffient to bring your burdens to God. Pride can be a dangerous attribute because it holds you back from reaching out for divine help and admitting your inadequacy and need for God. God loves you and wants to help, but you must invite Him by surrendering your concerns to Him. Beloved, what are you worried about? Is it your health? Inability to secure a job? Childlessness? Disappointment and heartbreak? Marital failure? Etc.
Stop worrying about it, instead, trust in the living God and you will not be put to shame.
