Verse Of The Day: There has no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that all of you are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that all of you may be able to bear it. 1Corinthians 10: 13

LISTEN: A good thing comes with a huge price. Nothing good comes easy. But those who are determined to achieve great results cannot be deterred or distracted by circumstances. To them, trials and circumstances of life are opportunities to grow stronger, glorious and more experienced in the affairs of life. (Romans 5 : 3 – 5 ; James 1 : 2 – 4). But this is not the same with many others. For those with feeble hearts, trials break them instead of make them. They hardly bounce back after every challenge or trial. They see trials and difficult times as end of the road for them. They change their confessions as situation changes. They are inconsistent with their faith in God. They lack rugged and dogged faith which is necessary for survival. (Hebrews 10 : 38). Beloved, if you must survive in this wicked world full of pain, heartbreak, trouble, temptation and trials, you must be prepared for anything with your faith.

Your faith is your weapon against the devil’s missiles. He (the devil) may attack, but you are sure to overcome and bounce back after every battle. When you trust God, you are sure to overcome. Our verse of the day says, ” There has no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that all of you are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that all of you may be able to bear it.” (1Corinthians 10: 13). This means that whatever you go through is common to man; and God is faithful to give you victory and make a way of escape for you. Beloved, you may have started the new year on a bad experience – pain, sickness, death of a loved one, financial debts, etc. Not to worry! Just hold on to your faith. Do not change your confession because of trials and difficult situations. I assure you, you will be amazed by God’s timely intervention and vindication. So cheer up!
