Verse Of The Day: But I will hope continually, and will yet praise you more and more. Psalms 71 : 14

LISTEN: Hopelessness is a pathway to self-destruction, therefore should be avoided at all cost. No matter what one faces, it is worthwhile to stay hopeful and courageous. Beloved, is your world crumbling? Is everything and everyone turning against you? Is your life falling apart that you do not know what else to do? Have friends, colleagues, relatives and family members turned their backs on you? Do you think you have come to the end of the road in your life? (see Psalms 27 : 10). Are you sick in your body and diagnosed with a terminal disease? Is your heart now consumed by fear of death? Not to worry! Just have faith in God. (Psalms 27 : 14). Beloved, determine to be hopeful. Genuine hope is like a seed that may appear to be dead in time of drought, but when the rain comes down its life suddenly returns without struggle. Circumstances of life may have dried you up, but like a seed, there is still life in you waiting for the right time to manifest. Just be patient and have faith.

Beloved, when you lose hope, you have lost your chances of overcoming your challenges and possessing your God-given possessions. No matter what happens, do not lose hope. The God who holds the future will bring you to your desired future if you faint not. Just keep believing. There may be no good reasons to keep hoping and believing, but like Abraham, just hope against hope (Romans 4 : 18 – 21). Our verse of the day says, ” But I will hope continually, and will yet praise you more and more. (Psalms 71 : 14). In today’s bible verse the Psalmist vowed to hope continually and praise God no matter what. He determined to always have hope; that is, to go on ever hoping, and increasing in the praise of God. In the same way, no matter what comes to swallow your hope, you should be focused on God. Just learn to keep hoping for divine help because God cannot change or lie. (Hebrews 6 : 18). He will help and strengthen you. So cheer up!
