Verse Of The Day: You will show me the path of life: in your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Psalms 16 : 11

LISTEN: The presence of God is the place to be at all times. It is the joy and strength of every true believer. It is our source of life, encouragement, hope and comfort. In His presence we can draw spiritual support, receives insights, revelations, understanding and wisdom. Our fellowship with Him can transform our lives to look more and more like Jesus. Though Adam and Eve lost the intimate fellowship in the presence of God which they had before the fall because of sin (Genesis 3:8); as a result, has prevented our own ability to be in the physical presence of God (Exodus 33:20): however, as believers in Christ we have the presence of God within us by virtue of His indwelling Holy Spirit (John 14:23), and that indwelling presence comes only through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. When Jesus Christ is welcomed into your life, the presence of God naturally comes with it to dwell in you.

God’s presence comes with His blessings. Our verse of the day says, ” You will show me the path of life: in your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” (Psalms 16 : 11). Beloved, when you cherish the presence of God you will be saved from sin and falsehood of the world, because God will show you the path of life and righteousness. In His presence we will experience unspeakable joy even in moments of troubles and trials. Besides, His presence sets Satan’s captives free. The Bible says, ” Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is present, there is freedom.” (2 Cointians 3 : 17). This means that, to be bankrupt of the presence of God is to be bankrupt of true freedom. Without God freedom is not possible; and where freedom is denied, pain and sorrow will dominate. Beloved, we need God’s presence because it saves, protects and preserves. Therefore, walk with Him by faith and you will enjoy His presence.
