Verse Of The Day: Marriage must be honored among all and the marriage bed kept undefiled, for God will judge sexually immoral people and adulterers. Hebrews 13 : 4

LISTEN: Oh, how the beauty and sanctity of marriage have been defiled as a result of unfaithfulness and lack of self-conrol and understanding of marriage partners! Most couples exchanged marriage vows in deceit and treachery before the Lord and their audience; as a result, they did not hesitate to break their marital vows because they do not understand what marriage is all about. Marriage is sweet, but only when the people involved have discovered how sweet it is, and what is needed to make it work. The Bible says, ” By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established.” (Proverbs 24 :3). This is where many marriage partners often get it wrong. They neglect wise counsels to follow their own selfish desires. Building a good marriage life is not easy, it comes with much effort and commitment. One needs wisdom and understanding to enjoy marriage and not endure it.

Beloved, faithfulness and self-control are required in marriage. Many homes are broken today because of infidelity. People are married yet have sexual partners outside of marriage. This ought not to be. Our verse of the day says, ” Marriage must be honored among all and the marriage bed kept undefiled, for God will judge sexually immoral people and adulterers.” (Hebrews 13 : 4). Beloved, marriage will lose its value when those involved approach it with dishonour and devil – may – care attitude. It is sad, the sacredness of marriage has been compromised by society. Marriage couples cheat on one another, thereby defiling their ‘matrimonial beds’ which should be kept holy. Friend, how are you treating your spouse? Are you faithful or unfaithful to your partner? Are you being sexually attracted to others instead of your spouse? Please watch it, because God will judge those who are unfaithful in marriage! Be wise and honour God with your body.
