Verse Of The Day: For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1 : 18

LISTEN: Anyone who is not saved is lost, and he who is not lost is saved. We are saved or lost by our own choice. He who does not make the choice to be saved will forever be lost. What does it mean to be lost? It means to live in sin and making no effort to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and be saved. It means to despise the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on the cross by rejecting Him as one sent from God. It also means to remain an enemy of God and be doomed forever. Thankfully, everyone has the opportunity to be saved through Jesus. Jesus Christ who knows no sin took upon Himself our own sin that we might become the righteousness of God by faith. Therefore, to continue to reject and resist Jesus Christ is to choose to perish forever. A lot of people are still spiritually blind, they argue and doubt the biblical evidences confirming Jesus Christ as the Son of God. The understanding of their mind has been darkened by sin and Satan. This is why our verse of the day says ” For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. (1 Corinthians 1 : 18). Beloved, do you take the preaching of the death of Christ as foolishness? Do you think followers of Jesus are wasting their time? Do you despise the gospel and the person of Jesus? Please rethink, for there is no more time. The more time you waste the closer you are to destruction and hell. Be wise!
