Verse Of The Day: I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. John 15 : 5

LISTEN: We belong to God and therefore should serve His purpose. We are created for His own glory, and when this purpose is not achieved we have failed to be fruitful. What does it mean to be fruitful? It means, producing a good result and being abundantly productive. This is exactly how God wants us to be. He wants us to be abundantly productive for His kingdom. He wants us to impact lives around the world and turn them over to Him. He wants us to faithfully serve Him by spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ laboriously around the world. However, no one can faithfully serve God’s purpose until He or she is connected and committed to Him. Our verse of the day says, ” I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” (John 15 : 5). Our strength as children of God is in Christ. Hence, to be fruitful we must abide in Christ. That is, we must have a close relationship with Him and continue to please Him as long as we live. Truly, a close and continuous relationship with God is the guarantee of a fruitful life in Christ Jesus. Fruitfulness in the Christian faith is practically impossible when the believer is disconnected from Christ the source of supernatural strength and life. Beloved, are you faithful to Jesus Christ? Are you really doing what God expects of you? Are you truly depending on Him for strength and direction? If not, please retrace your steps today. Remember, without Him you can do nothing.
