Verse Of The Day : But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed ask him who formed it, “Why did you make me like this?” Romans 9 : 20

LISTEN : A man visited the disabled colony somewhere in West Africa, and having seen their ordeals and suffering, and the government’s negligence and inability to help them; the man asked some of the disabled people among them who appeared to be their leaders. “How do you cope with the challenges of disability? I expected to hear words of frustration, hopelessness, regrets, bitterness and anger from them. But surprisingly, each of them spoke little of their predicament, but smilingly diverted to what they have done for themselves through empowering one another with skills acquisition without help from the government, and concluded with these motivating words, ” There is ability in disability. ” I was touched and inspired by their resolve. Beloved, what are your actual or perceived disabilities? What has made you to reject yourself? Why are you angry with God over things you cannot change? Why do you think God is wrong to have allowed you look the way your looking? Why are you quarrelling God over your height, size, skin colour, family of birth, community or state of origin? Who are you to question or resist God’s established purpose? Our verse of the day says, ” But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed ask him who formed it, “Why did you make me like this?” Romans 9 : 20 Beloved, what you cannot change learn to accept ; and what you cannot cure learn to endure. Life will be sweet and blissful when you cease to fight what is divinely established. Be wise!
