Author: Bishop Julius Okarike

Verse Of The Day: Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in him, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15 : 13

LISTEN: Beloved, be full of hope no matter what. (Romans 4 : 18). A woman lost her husband and her seven children in succession to a strange ailment. As she wept for them, she kept saying, ” I know my God is not asleep. My hope is in Him.” But many who came to sympatise with her wept and screamed, “This is terrible! Not even one left? What a hopeless situation!” Amazingly, the woman stood up and wiped her tears and said,” My situation is not hopeless, God is at work in my life; when He is done with me I will sing a new song.” All the sympathisers were stunned with her confession of faith. Years later she remarried and gave birth to children who later became great and a blessing to her. (Jeremiah 32 : 27 ; Luke 1 : 37). Beloved, God gives hope to those who put their trust in Him. With God you cannot be hopeless in life. Faith in the power of God will certainly drive away hopelessness. But what does it mean to be hopeless? It means to have no expectation of good or success. It is to despair; and giving no ground for hope. Many are hopeless and do not believe to see success in their lives. They believe that the future holds the worst for them. Beloved, are you like that? Please cheer up! All hope is not lost. Just abound in hope and trust in God, He is everything you need. Do not give up on Him, for He will not give up on you. Surrender your hopeless case to Him today and allow His Spirit to fill your heart with hope. Be wise!
