Verse Of The Day : The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come so that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. John 10 : 10

LISTEN : One day a stranger walk into a house, when he discovered that the house owner was not ready to invite him in, he smilingly said, “Sir can’t you ask me to come in?” “Why?” Asked the owner of the house. The stranger replied, “Because I have a piece of information for you. It is for your own good.” Been convinced that the stranger is a good man he welcomed him to his living room. As he was discussing and making wonderful promises to the house owner, he was also spying the man’s house; and after couple of minutes he left. Not too long, another man – a noble man, walked into the same house. When he saw the house owner he said, “A man passed by me as I was coming down the street, do you know where he was coming from?” “From my house of course!” Replied the house owner with a smile. “The man is good, he has a lot of good things to offer.” The noble man shouted, “No, no, reject him. He is an impostor. He is a thief, I know him.” But the house owner would not believe him because he was blinded by greed. As the noble man left, few days later the first man (the thief) came back and burgled the man’s house leaving him with nothing. When the noble man heard about it he came and sympathised with the man. He said, “But I warned you!” However, I will help you recover all.

The illustration above is about us. The thief who disguised as a good man was the devil (Genesis 3 : 1 – 7) ; and the noble man whose counsel and warnings were rejected was Jesus Christ. (John 1 : 11 , 12). Just like the house owner, many of us have opened our hearts to the devil. We accepted him because he came with lots of promises. (Genesis 3 : 4 , 5). But cannot deliver on any of his promises to you. If he promises life he will give death. But Jesus who came with a message of hope and promise of eternal life has been repeatedly rejected. But I am glad to inform you that, anyone who believes in Him cannot suffer eternal destruction. The choice is yours. Choose Him and you will win, reject Him and you will lose. Be wise!
