Author : Bishop Julius Okarike

Verse Of The Day : For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us. Romans 8 : 18

LISTEN : No place is like the paradise of God. Even the most beautiful place of this world cannot compare with the paradise of God. It is a place of complete happiness. A place free from all regrets and woes of life. A place designed to end all heartbreak forever. Apostle John was privileged to receive revelations of God’s plans for humanity, both for eternal punishment of the wicked and eternal bliss for the righteous in Christ Jesus. In one of the revelations the Bible says, ” I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, ‘Behold, the tabernacle of God is with man, and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away’.” (Revelations 21 : 3 – 4).

Wow! What a wonderful promise. There will be no more tears and weeping for death of loved ones. No more mourning for losses, tragedies and heartbreak. No more making of ‘will’ for fear of death and trouble in sharing of property left behind; because all sorrow will be over, as God will introduce a perfect life. Therefore, having this wonderful assurance of a better place when our life here is ended, we should not consider our momentary troubles and sufferings for they will soon be over. What we are going through today cannot compare to our future glory that is about to be revealed. Beloved, be strong and courageous. Do not give up on God. Keep pressing on for the battle will soon be over and the crown will be won. Be wise!
