Verse Of The Day : We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8 : 28

LISTEN : When hit by troubles, tragedies or difficult situations, it is hard to believe that all things work together for good. At such times, we tend to believe that our world has fallen apart. But for those who walk by faith they know that God is in control, therefore, will manipulate everything in their favour no matter what. (Romans 8 : 31 ; Psalms 118 : 6). There was an old poor man who had an only son and three little grandchildren. He was known for his faith and positive attitude towards situations. He goes by the nickname, “All things work together for good.” Critics often used the nickname against him when something bad happens to him. They would mockingly say, “All things work together for good, does that also include this situation? ” And the poor old man would reply,” Yes, all things includes this situation. ”

One day, the worst happened. His only son died leaving him and his three little grandchildren. On the day of the funeral service of his son, the old man stood up and walked to where the body of his son was laid, and turning to those who gathered for the funeral service he said, “God knows why it is like this. I know that all things work together for good of those who love Him. I am not disappointed for God is in control.” Touched by his unwavering faith and confession, a wealthy man who was in the crowd came out with tears in his eyes and said to him,” Papa, henceforth you and your grandchildren are my responsibility. From here, we all will head to my house and there you will live for the rest of your life.” Those who once criticised the old man’s faith were ashamed for seeing all things working together for good. Beloved, do you believe all things are possible to God? That all things work together for good? No matter the circumstance, always believe that your faith in God will not be disappointed. Certainly, all things will work in your favour.
