Verse Of The Day: For in many things we all stumble. If anyone does not stumble in word, this one is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body also. James 3 : 2

LISTEN : We use words on a daily basis. From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same we use words not minding what may come out of it. Unfortunately, a lot of people are not careful with their choice of words. From their homes to the society they use words not minding the consequences that comes with such bad choice of words. (Proverbs 13 : 3). Words are powerful and should be used wisely. They can make or mar anyone, including you. Words can build friendship for you, and can as well create enmity. Your words can bring people closer to you and equally chase them farther away from you. Words can create a future for you, and can equally destroy it. It can build and bond relationships ; it can equally weaken and destroy it.

Your words can be an asset to you or a liability depending on what you do with it. Your word becomes a liability when it hurts others instead of edifying and healing them. It becomes an asset when it heals, edify and encourages others. People tend to respond to you the way your words affect them. Beloved, we offend in many things with our words. But there is room for improvement. Determine to be the person God wants you to be. He wants you to be careful with what you say. (James 1 : 26). If you can mind your words, you can escape some troubles. Until you master the control of your tongue you cannot enjoy the peace of mind. Beloved, learn never to be rash or reckless with your words, for if you do not offend in words you are a perfect man able to control your actions and ultimately, your life.
