Verse Of The Day : You allowed men to ride over our heads. We went through fire and through water, but you brought us to the place of abundance. Psalms 66 : 12

LISTEN : Are you tormented, oppressed and afflicted by those who claim to be mightier and stronger than you are? Are you suffering as a result of mistreatment, cruelty, marginalisation, or victimisation? Are you denied of your rights and freedom? Have you been enslaved by evil people or circumstances around your life? Does it seem like your hope of freedom and breakthrough is gone? Are you wondering if the trouble will ever be over? Relax, God knows what He is doing. (Jeremiah 29 :11). He sees everything you are going through. He is fully aware of your ordeals, humiliation, afflictions and pain. He is aware of your groaning and constant hissing for pain. Beloved, if you can obey God and wait for Him, all that will soon be over. (Psalms 27 : 14).

In our verse of the day, the Psalmist speaks of God allowing His people to be oppressed and afflicted by their enemies for a long time. In the land of Egypt the Israelites cried and groaned because of affliction and oppression, yet, God seemed to be very far away from them. They were interested in their immediate release from bondage, but God was interested in raising a nation and an army to fulfill His promise to Abraham. Eventually, they came out of Egypt not as the small family of Jacob who went to Egypt for food, but as a glorious nation and formidable army to fulfill God’s promise to Abraham. The Bible says, “You allowed men to ride over our heads. We went through fire and through water, but you brought us to the place of abundance.” (Psalms 66 : 12). Beloved, relax, God knows what He is doing. He allowed the oppression and afflictions in your life for you to be promoted. The torment was for your testimony. The humiliation was for your exaltation. The pain was equally for your gain. So, relax and be patient with God, because He is working out something good for you behind the scenes. Be wise!

Please Say This Prayer:

Almighty God, I thank you for this opportunity. I know I am a sinner, and I cannot help myself. Forgive my sin and accept me as your own.
